As magical as it is memorable, M is a collection of moments produced by a modern alchemy, when people, place and tech mix in perfect proportion. This is luxury evolving in the same way life has. Yes, M’s inherited an affinity for the finer things in life, but it has a different way of enjoying them.

Though M is millennial, age is immaterial. It’s more of a mindset. If M stands for anything, it’s mobile. Always on, and always on the move. So when you stop for breath, it should be somewhere that stimulates you. Most of all, it should be somewhere that gets you.

If this is you, prepare for a meeting of minds. Savvy, social and straight talking, you travel for people and places, not old school airs and graces. You like your experiences real, not mass produced. You live, and share, online. But while M embraces the digital era, it’s no substitute for great service (tech is good, but it can’t do everything).

Fittingly, M is right at the heart of London’s Tech City. Surrounded by start-ups and creative clusters, this is M’s natural home. It embodies the area’s restless energy, but adds a certain sophistication

The Rookery is ideally located just on the fringe of the Square Mile, London’s financial district. It is near the Bank of England, St. Paul’s Cathedral, the Old Bailey and the historic Inns of Court.

From the Middle Ages Smithfield, just outside the ancient walls of the City of London, was a bustling cattle market. It was surrounded by monastic institutions until they were all dissolved by King Henry VIII. Over the next 400 years the City Guilds became all powerful within the Square Mile, but outside it no constraints existed and the market thrived. This prosperity, combined with a convenient lack of law enforcement, attracted all manner of villains including, reputedly, Charles Dickens’s immortal rascal, Fagin. The area became known colloquially as The Rookery.

Clerkenwell is a unique district where medieval city gates and artisanal producers stand beside award-winning cocktail bars and an historic meat market. A favourite with diners and cultural aficionados alike, Clerkenwell is one of London’s most creative neighbourhoods.

A 13-bedroom Georgian townhouse with an award-winning cocktail lounge located just on the historic St John’s Square, this unique property feels more like the private residence of an eccentric (and fabulous!) Great Aunt than a hotel.
